being nice comes with a price

I now know why I usually dont help people. It comes back and bites you in the arse! I get to pay a $100 health code violation fine for something I didnt do. Only thing I did was let a so called "friend" stay in my house that was getting ready to be forclosed. I didnt ask for money or anything in return. Since when we moved out 3 days later someone broke in and stole air unit and other stuff. So having someone stay in the house would keep anything else from happening........so I thought. Violations were issued on December 27th 2010 for trash, tires, junk cars,ect. I wasnt noticed of any of this until last week. So now I get to pay the fine cause they were to lazy to clean up their own mess. If it had been cleaned up there wouldnt have been a fine. So I didnt just get screwed I got knowningly screwed by them. All the while I am in the dark about it all. I guess the last laugh is on me. Hope they enjoy it. KARMA is a bitch.
